There have been so many concerns posted in forums that while in the past year up to the start of 2009, it was literally easy to rank a webpage using bookmarking sites. Today, nobody seems to explore anymore using these trusted sites in link building. Why? simply because they no longer take good effect.
Could this be another Google linking filter that is being implemented? Will this be the end of social bookmarking site exploitation? If not, then what? Dsub 800 will be on the watch regarding this issue and I will be doing a series of experiments to see what still works and what doesn't with respect to using social bookmarking sites to help a webpage rank in the SERPs.

Download the Amazing Firefox 3
A few weeks now, Firefox 3 has been made available all over the world and the webmasters who saw its power can't seem to help but be amazed at how the red fox which is actually a red panda came to the newest update of its browser.
I remember way back when the first Firefox was released and my brother told me to use it. It took me some time to be convinced that it is indeed the number 1 browser but I am well concerned about the security that it offers compared to the IE that I used to have and now here I am, one of the best browser's fan using it over the years. It came to me that this is indeed one of the best happenings in history.
Here is a good place to download Firefox 3 in all available languages. Just make a quick pick of the language that you would want it installed in your PC for easier understanding and manueverability.

Feedburner Is Now Acquired by Google
The Chicago-based feed management and advertising company FeedBurner will soon be totally added to the many trophies of the biggest search engine - Google. This will be part of Google's program to look for ways in identifying and offering new tools for many content writers and publishers according to the Google blog. This will hopefully be an additional and wider distribution venue for the internet users and therefore would also help many affiliate marketers in both direct and indirect ways.
Feed burner is a leading feed distribution and management tools in Chicago for the service of the different sectors including bloggers, podcasters and feed creators. Since this is a sure fact that Google will son launch, many bloggers and podcasters have been looking forward to the enhancement of the service for their benefit and advantage. Since a web feed is a way for every online publishers to syndicate their content and deliver it straight to the target visitors and readers, this will be another great service for most webmasters also that fall in the SEO arena.
Since contents are rarely not monetized these days, this new service will hopefully reach a significant target user increase since the acquisition of the feeds service of the said company last June 1, 2007 as announced by Google in their daily bread- The Google Blog. I never knew this type of ad could ever exist because if you will just notice the requirements of their buying your AdSense site, it has to be earning at least $5.00 /day or $150.00/ month which to me could be something significant. If my site is earning this amount of revenue why would i sell it to them? That's the point.
Another thing is they say they are buying at least 50% of those that come to them to sell those AdSense sites. The question is, What happens if they decline to buy your AdSense site? What now for you. Would it be still possible for you to earn as much as you are earning now that they know what keywords you are tartgeting for the AdSense?
What assurance do you get out of opting to sell your AdSense site which in reality is selling your "secret keywords" to them? what happens if they don't buy your site? What happens to your keywords? That's the legitimate question at hand here. As we all know how AdSense works, its all about those secret keywords which others are not seeing.
And how much would they be interested to buy your AdSense site just in case? Would it be just based on the revenue? Go see for your self.

Google Generated Sitemaps for $5.00
I recently learned that Google is charging for their sitemap generated content at $5.00 per data. The data to be downloaded is to be paid via paypal and i just got interested at posting this new knowledge that i learned while i was playing around with the sitemap generation tool that i got interested lately to help me out on my SEO-related travels in the web. I will be using this data because i saw that there are 2 broken links reported therein and i do not have any knowledge also about those broken links and i also do not know anything about broken links and how they may affect our online business, specially our websites.
I believe that i should know all bout this because i have to learn how to use the tool and at the same time see and learn all the possible benefits that i could use for my growing number of websites today. Actually although they were all just blogs hosted under blogger and wordpress and myspace, i believe as a webmaster of this century that i need to learn all the necessary tools to use in SEO and in my continued learning in the field.
Since i do not know yet anything about sitemaps and how they cn be used to the advantage of any webmaster, i decided to take a look at the offers of Google through the webmaster account that i jsut recently got to sign up. I also learned that there are lots of things that i can learn out of having a webmaster's account at Google since i will need them also on my new AdSense account which i also had recently signed up with.
The point of this post is to simply let others know that my curiosity led to discovering that as a webmaster we could use the sitemap generated data to be able to understand what it is that is happening in our own websites through the details that we could possibly get out of the sitemap.

Google Backlinks, Gone After a Few Days
I have been looking at the links that all my sites has been able to achieve. Right after my explorations of the six sites that i have been building up links with, i noticed that Google is kind enough to give me the links that somehow i feel all my sites really deserve. Odd thing is that after a few days, maybe four, i suddenly noticed that all the links disappeared from the Google search that i have been monitoring after the update was released.
How come the sudden disappearances of all the links that i feel was hard earned by my sites and the sites that i have been doing link building jobs with? I am actually planning on using them all as part of my other link building explorations for which i am interested in doing and implementing for other companies and sites that i have been promoting. The relief that i felt after finding out that Google has somehow loosen up its allowable links for their index to webmasters was replaced by sadness because i thought at first that it could be the start of a more fruitful and progressive way of dealing with the links that Google has been making it hard for most webmasters to earn for their sites these days. Imagine that you could even rank your site in Google search with some target keywords yet you still have no backlink at all indexed by the search engine itself.
I almost got myself into thinking that maybe this certain happening is the more pushing away link builders like me to sort out for a more definite and sure way of building up and getting links for the said search engine's index and that is to resort to black hat techniques to be able to get what we need - backlinks. since everybody knows that backlinks is one of the most powerful factors that any website has to attain to be able to make it to a target margin of traffic to generate for a site that is being promoted through link building. Furthermore, any site in the web today needs backlinks to be able to rank high in search terms and keywords that you are aiming for. These backlinks in return gives any site the liberty to generate traffic and that it needs to increase ROI for the site and maximize the revenue that any webmaster and website owner is aiming for.
Before this incident happened, i used to have about a standard 6 up to 8 backlinks in my name for my six personal websites but after about four days of comfortably looking at them in every search that i did every night trying to see if Google will increase in terms of indexing my link building efforts, i was suddenly stunned to see that they have all gone somewhere else other than on my websites and i don't know where or how come. Sorry for this post because i was not able to save a still copy of the Google search page where i found my links with, a few days ago.
Although before i was comfortable at just typing in my sites for the Google site explorer box and never finding even one result on their index, when i found out about the results i almost shouted for joy. Well, it's not really everything and in fact not much of a big deal or something but it almost caught up my attention and got me to speeding up my link building jobs so as to speed up also the increase in the number of backlinks that i will be generating for the sites that i am promoting including my own websites. At least, i am happy the way that Yahoo has been treating my sites and the way that they have been generating the backlinks that i need for the work that i am currently doing for myself and for my clients.

The SEO Lesson From a Black Hatter and Spammer
A few days ago, i have just created this blog site of mine that is supposed to deal with SEO, blogs, kitchen and glass which are top four of my favorite things in this lifetime i have . Contrary to my planned set up the first post i have blogged discussed about a black hatter and spammer site that i came across with while searching for blog sites to link to on my first post. This has never happened to me before. I would treat this instance as one of the best experiences that i have been in to since i started to learn a little about SEO and blogs.
SEO Forums:
Since i have registered many accounts in different SEO forums, i decided to ask for some other SEO friend's opinion and also to go for other SEO professionals that has knowledge on how to deal with my discovery and take a peek at this curiosity for this SEO and black hatter and spammer site. It was also a blog site that significantly has a high rank in the Google SERP in the same target keyword as my newly put up blog. In short, his blog site has all the possible qualities of a well generated and optimized content and it came to my mind to try and visit his actual page because he is in top of everything knowing his site is a blog also. Ranking at #4 with a highly competent keyword ranging up to more than 2.3 million pages in Google and up to 9.8 million in Yahoo involves great deal of hard work and at the same time SEO dedication. This allowed me to adore and in part envy this blogger's site only to find out later that it was optimized to achieve high rankings in the SERP using black hatter and spammer SEO tactics and manipulate the web using black hat techniques that i am not familiar with. This is according to a friend from a famous forum.
SEO Friends:
Asking from friends i began to get responses from the forum sites that i have asked opinions with and some of them had great responses from which i have learned an important lesson in my becoming of a dedicated and professional SEO practitioner soon. I have given enough time for my decision to come up using a balanced point of view as to what action i will take regarding this spammer and black hatter's site. Of course in terms of SEO competition, the site itself is my rival in rankings and in keyword target which we both have the same. But the point is considering he has done efforts i am not knowledgeable with and i don't want to take actions that i will later on regret because i also believe that for whatever technique (black hat or white hat) he used for his site to rank high in the SERP, he still deserves what he has aimed for and should claim what he feels is rightfully his.

I said to myself that i am very lucky that it was not me who had to do the action of reporting this black hatter and spammer site because i do not know if it is the right thing to do and basing my action from the initial knowledge i have gained out of his technique if i were to take the same course of action in the future or go with the plain old and reliable white hat SEO.
After learning from the results, that his site may have been banned by Google themselves or someone else found about the used schemes of a black hatter and spammer, i hurried to the forum where i have asked some friends about their opinion on whatever action i should take. In there i decided to thank them all for their concern and told them they had no idea at all how relieved i am that it didn't have to be me to do such an action. SEO is SEO and it is an art and not a science and that is the reason why the last letter stands for "optimization".
For the last time i took a deeper look of the black hatter and spammer site and adored the techniques he used to achieve his goal even if i do not know at all how it is done and executed. I must admit that having such knowledge is enviable for a newbie like me in the field of SEO.

Black Hatter and Spammer Dedication
Today, i have just created another blog titled The Glass Kitchen SEO Blog. This blog site is of course very obvious to be discussing all about the three things i adore in my life - glass, kitchen and SEO in particular. But things today had its turnarounds when i encountered a black hatter and spammer's site and let me discuss a little bit of this today on my first post as the black hatter and spammer caught my curiosity being unfamiliar with the actual characteristics of their websites and how they do it.
I have always loved glass art and never ceases to fascinate and amaze me whenever i see one of any kind of art expression involving stuffs related to glasses, glass wares, glass museums, glass galeries, glass works, glass heritage, glass recycling, glass collector's item, glass houses, glass jewelries, crystal glass, glass figures, glass figurines, glass chandeliers, glass architecture, colored glass of different shapes and most anything anybody can think of about the glass and glasses as applied to arts and artistry to attain any expression in relation to a human's imagination.
While i was searching for data, figures and sites about glasses, i came across with a site that has a very cleverly crafted way of a black hatter and spammer's tactic. He caught up my attention as to how he did the manipulation of the web using different resources i am not knowledgeable of. I must admit that i do not have any knowledge and understanding of how spam works for some of the great AdSense and affiliate marketers in the web but i know that they can be used to an advantage where the black hatter and spammer can earn a significant amount of income from.
Allow me to accomplish in the simplest way i know of explaining my understanding on the chronology of events that led to my discovery of this black hatter and spammer's site (if i may call it that way).
I was looking for informations about glass and glass galleries using the Google Search Bar and when i typed the keyword glass galleries, the first ten sites started to appear in my browser. Here are the first three just to give you a clue on how to see my point. Compare the first three sites and see for yourself.

SO THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS LIKE! Some sort of referral marketing site that used spam as a major type of SEO (?) to earn rankings, drive enormous amounts of traffic, and be successful at affiliate marketing this way.
The URL and The Backlinks:
See and notice the URL of the second site above...it's a (.info) with somewhat a very odd name of d-g.sujobacaq domain and go visit the site itself. You will then find that using the firefox browser with installed Firefox for SEO plug in, that all the backlinks leading to the subject site is either a .net, .info or a .org with fictitious names under the comment linking sites and signature links.

Black hatters and spammers never try to outrank, they always get to the top. Then on, i didn't bother anymore about it and stopped my leads and shut my curiosity.
After all i am just doing what a newcomer is supposed to act in circumstances like this one, "the beauty is always in the beholder" and black is beautiful.
I have always loved glass art and never ceases to fascinate and amaze me whenever i see one of any kind of art expression involving stuffs related to glasses, glass wares, glass museums, glass galeries, glass works, glass heritage, glass recycling, glass collector's item, glass houses, glass jewelries, crystal glass, glass figures, glass figurines, glass chandeliers, glass architecture, colored glass of different shapes and most anything anybody can think of about the glass and glasses as applied to arts and artistry to attain any expression in relation to a human's imagination.
While i was searching for data, figures and sites about glasses, i came across with a site that has a very cleverly crafted way of a black hatter and spammer's tactic. He caught up my attention as to how he did the manipulation of the web using different resources i am not knowledgeable of. I must admit that i do not have any knowledge and understanding of how spam works for some of the great AdSense and affiliate marketers in the web but i know that they can be used to an advantage where the black hatter and spammer can earn a significant amount of income from.
Allow me to accomplish in the simplest way i know of explaining my understanding on the chronology of events that led to my discovery of this black hatter and spammer's site (if i may call it that way).
I was looking for informations about glass and glass galleries using the Google Search Bar and when i typed the keyword glass galleries, the first ten sites started to appear in my browser. Here are the first three just to give you a clue on how to see my point. Compare the first three sites and see for yourself.

SO THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS LIKE! Some sort of referral marketing site that used spam as a major type of SEO (?) to earn rankings, drive enormous amounts of traffic, and be successful at affiliate marketing this way.
The URL and The Backlinks:
See and notice the URL of the second site above...it's a (.info) with somewhat a very odd name of d-g.sujobacaq domain and go visit the site itself. You will then find that using the firefox browser with installed Firefox for SEO plug in, that all the backlinks leading to the subject site is either a .net, .info or a .org with fictitious names under the comment linking sites and signature links.
